Hi! I'm Lin. I was born in Dallas but am now based out of the weird and wonderful Austin, TX. Ever since I was a kid, I've always had this crazy infatuation with sci-fi and psychological horror, some of my biggest inspirations being Akira, The Walking Dead, and any of George A. Romero's classics. I love the thrill that comes with breathing life into new characters and crafting worlds from nothing. When I'm not writing, I can be caught messing around in FL Studio, recording random sounds on 6th Street, or playing Yu-Gi-Oh! with my friends.
In May 2020, I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a B.S. in Radio-Television-Film. As a student, I wrote and produced dozens of short films, in addition to directing and editing several web series for Texas Student Television, most namely Hollywood U. and UTravels. My most recent work includes editing and scoring my upcoming short horror film, NO QUESTIONS ASKED (2022), as well as working as a sound recordist/post-sound editor and horror SFX make-up artist for local productions. I love working on projects that explore the realness of people, which I guess is a recurring "theme" in my work. I like to capture truth, even in a fictional medium. I try to explore all shapes and sizes of the world, to remind myself (and everyone else) how beautiful it can be — and how beautiful it is!
